UHF CONVERTER
Jerrold FTC
Ultracon Deluxe

Jerrold was a pretty early player in the second wave of television development in the late 1940s, and is still making TV cable boxes and equipment. This UHF converter, seen in both its ivory and natural brown bakelite cabinet forms, is from about 1958. It looks just like a Granco LUC, with a slide rule dial fronting a 6AF4 and 6CB6 tube lineup, though its chassis looks like that of a Granco LCU. I haven't figured out who made it for whom.
